Welcome to My Website
My name is Nancy
Lally. I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse, since 1979, and a
Licensed Massage Therapist, since 1994.
My mission is to give quality, nurturing massage treatments in a peaceful
atmosphere. I would like to introduce as many people to massage therapy as I
can. I am very passionate about my work. I feel that most
illness is caused by the stress in our lives. I will never make you
feel like "just another person".
I attended the
Cortiva Institute, in Watertown, MA. which was a 2 year
program, comprising over 1200 hours. Some of the courses I studied
included Anatomy, Physiology, Contraindications of Massage,
Sports Massage, and Pregnancy Massage, to name a few.
I also took an energy healing class involving Reiki. I performed
500 hands-on practices as a requirement for graduation.
As a qualified and experienced massage therapist in the Boston area, I
have been invited to provide pre and post event massages at the Boston
Marathon and also the Pan Mass Challenge. I have published a
weekly column in the "Wakefield Item" Newspaper, entitled "Healthy
Alternatives". I have given lectures for the Arthritis
Foundation. I have donated my time at many other volunteer
events as well.
I have attended Continuing Education classes in Pregnancy, Sports
Massage, Ankle Injuries, and Reiki.
My practice includes clients with a variety of ailments. Some clients
just need to be relaxed and get away from the world for a bit, and others
may have chronic illness, such as fibromyalgia, or arthritis.
Other clients are recovering from injuries, or surgery. Since no
two people are exactly alike, my massages are not exactly alike. I
take great pride in tailoring a massage "just for you". I will
work with you so you can get the appropriate treatment you need that day.
"Never underestimate the power of touch." |
